It does not replace it: it extends it forward with a flat panel and adds two side pieces that go up the corners of the bumper with sharp fins. The result is a front end with a racing look, matching the aesthetics of the Formentor VZ and VZ5. It is an aftermarket accessory designed for the Formentor. Is it an original Cupra or Maxton Design splitter?

No. It is an aftermarket splitter with a design inspired by that style, made for the Cupra Formentor Mk1.

Does it replace the standard bumper?

No. It is fitted under the original bumper and extends it. Nothing needs to be removed.

How low does the front end go? Will it scrape on speed bumps or ramps?

It protrudes a few centimeters under the bumper, so on very high speed bumps or garage ramps, it is advisable to enter diagonally and slowly, as with any front lip.

Do you need to drill?

It may be necessary to make a small hole in the lower part of the bumper, which is not visible. The rest is with 3M adhesive tape.

Does it affect the parking sensors or the radar?

No. The splitter goes under the bumper and does not cover the sensors or the cruise control radar.

Is it suitable for my Formentor e-Hybrid?

Yes. The front bumper is the same on the Formentor Mk1 versions from 2020 to 2024.

Does it pass the ITV?

It is an aesthetic piece that has no sharp edges. We recommend keeping the invoice in case they ask for it.

How long does it take to arrive?

It is dispatched the same day if you confirm before 18:00 from Monday to Friday. In Spain and Portugal, 1-2 business days with express shipping or 3-5 with standard.

What if it doesn't fit?
