The TCR-style front lip is the piece that changes the face of a Golf 7.5 GTI the most. It visually lowers the front, elongates the bumper line and finishes the corners with the side fins that go up towards the wheel arches, following the aesthetics of the TCR version. It is an aftermarket accessory made of ABS; DRX Parts is not related to Volkswagen and the TCR designation is used solely to describe the style.

Is it an original Volkswagen part?

No. It is an aftermarket accessory in ABS designed for the front bumper of the Golf 7.5 in sport versions. The TCR designation describes its style.

Does the lip need to be painted?

No. It arrives in factory-finished gloss black, ready to install as it comes out of the box.

Can it be removed without leaving a mark?

Yes. It is anchored on the lower lip of the bumper, without cuts or holes in the bodywork. Removing the adhesive with heat and a nylon thread, the bumper remains intact.

Does it scrape when entering a garage or a speed bump?

It is a low-profile lip, not a competition splitter. With stock height it does not cause problems in daily use. If you have very low coilovers, take extreme caution on steep ramps.

Can it withstand the wash tunnel?

Yes, both the tunnel and pressure washing. Avoid pointing the lance less than 30 cm from the joints between pieces.

Is it suitable for a normal Golf 7 from 2015?

No. It is designed for the front of the Golf 7.5 facelift in GTI, GTI Performance, GTD and R-Line versions, from 2017 to 2020. The front of the pre-facelift Golf 7 has a different geometry.

Can I install it myself?

Yes, although with two people it is easier to align the central piece. No special tool is needed.
