Is it an original BMW or M Performance part?

No. It is an aftermarket accessory made of ABS and designed for the 1 Series F20 and F21 tailgate. The M Performance designation describes its style.

Do I need to paint it?

No. It arrives in gloss black ready to install. It does not require primer, paint or additional clear coat.

Do I need to drill the tailgate?

No. It attaches to the stock spoiler with the included double-sided tape and hardware.

Does it fit my M135i or M140i?
